Determination of Gravitomagnetic Field through GRBs or X-ray Pulsars

چکیده
In gauge theory of gravity, there is direct coupling between the spin of a particle and gravitomagnetic field. In the surface of a neutron star or near black hole, the coupling energy between spin and gravitomagnetic field can be large and detectable. Precise measurement of the position of spectrum lines of the corresponding emission or absorption can help us to determine the gravitomagnetic field and electromagnetic field simultaneously. The ratio ∆Ee ∆Ep can be served as a quantitative criteria of black hole. In GRBs or X-ray pulsar, absorption spectral lines of electron were observed. If the absorption spectral lines of electron and proton can be observed simultaneously, using the method given in this paper, we can determine the gravitomagnetic field in the surface of the star, and discriminate black hole from neutron star. Pulsar’s kicks and γ-ray bursts
Aims. The supernova-GRB (γ-ray burst) association is tested by showing the consistence of the distributions of pulsar’s kick velocities and GRB energies, under the assumption that cosmic GRBs are related to supernova explosions that form pulsars. Methods. These two distributions are derived from observations, and are checked by K-S test. Results. The deduced distribution of kick velocity from t...
متن کاملMagnetospheric interactions of binary pulsars as a model for gamma-ray bursts
I consider a model of GRBs where they arise right before the merging of binary pulsars. Binary pulsars moving through the companion’s magnetic field experience a large, motional electric field ~ E = ~v ∧ ~ B/c, which leads to the release in the pulsar magnetosphere of a pair cascade, and the acceleration of a wind of pure pairs. The energy and energy deposition rate of the wind are those of γ–r...
متن کاملγ-Ray Bursts and Afterglows from Rotating Strange Stars and Neutron Stars
We here discuss a new model of γ-ray bursts (GRBs) based on differentially rotating strange stars. Strange stars in this model and differentially rotating neutron stars in the KluźniakRuderman model can produce extremely relativistic, variable fireballs required by GRBs and then become millisecond pulsars. The effect of such pulsars on expansion of the postburst fireballs through magnetic dipol...
متن کاملGravitomagnetic time-varying effects on the motion of a test particle
We study the effects of a time-varying gravitomagnetic field on the motion of test particles. Starting from recent results, we consider the gravitomagnetic field of a source whose spin angular momentum has a linearly time-varying magnitude. The acceleration due to such a time-varying gravitomagnetic field is considered as a perturbation of the Newtonian motion, and we explicitly evaluate the ef...

A model is proposed for the observed combination of power-law and thermal emission of keV X-rays from rotationally powered pulsars. For γ-ray pulsars with accelerators very many stellar radii above the neutron star surface, 100 MeV curvature γ-rays from e − or e + flowing starward out of such accelerators are converted to e ± pairs on closed field lines all around the star. These pairs strongly...
